Casual Concrete Truck Driver – Echuca Concrete

We seek an experienced truck driver to join our friendly, professional team at our busy Mawsons Echuca site. Duties include agitator truck driving, general administration tasks and yard duties. A heavy rigid truck licence is essential and experience in driving an agitator truck would be an advantage. Weekend work will be a requirement with this casual role. 

You will need to have excellent customer service skills, a positive work attitude and display attention to detail with your work. Supply of Concrete Cartage Services – Mawsons Deniliquin Region

Trading also as Milbrae and Country Concrete, with a history spanning over 110 years and Adbri as a Joint Venture Partner, Mawsons are very well established and highly regarded. 

We are seeking expressions of interest from a suitably qualified independent concrete cartage contractor to provide concrete cartage services based in the Deniliquin region of NSW, delivering product to customer sites across our footprint. The successful applicant will be offered a long-term cartage agreement up to a maximum of ten (10) years. 

This contractor will need to interact professionally and effectively with our existing team and show attention to detail with their work. Work safety and customer satisfaction must be key focuses of the successful applicant. Consistency and high standards with product and service are vital in this contractor role. 

To be considered, applicants must be willing to supply and operate a late-model, cab chassis truck and concrete transit mixer in an 8-wheel (8x4) configuration. The truck and mixer must meet the minimum safety standards and current specifications as determined by Mawsons. This truck must also comply with the Australian Static Rollover Threshold standard. Alternatively, there is currently an opportunity to purchase a Mawsons branded ready-to-work agitator truck.

Concrete Agitator Driver – Griffith (NSW)

The Concrete Agitator Driver will be responsible for Agi Driving, General Administrative Tasks and Yard Duties as required. Industry experience would be beneficial; however, we are willing to fully train the right applicant. This role will involve manual tasks including some lifting and shovelling.

Reporting to the Regional Manager (Milbrae Concrete), the Concrete Site Manager will be responsible for managing all onsite operations including plant and equipment needs. There will be a strong focus on managing existing customer relations and expanding sales across the region. Hands-on duties include occasional agitator truck driving, concrete batching and loader operations as required.

Essential Criteria: 

  • Relevant experience in a supervisory / management role.

Reporting to the Quarry Manager, the Quarry Administrator/Weighbridge Clerk will be responsible for the daily administrative tasks associated with quarry operations, including customer service, site telephone and email management, collating and recording information and data as well as arranging site services (ie cleaners, etc).

General Manager, Milbrae Quarries

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to provide leadership for our Milbrae Quarries in the Riverina Region of NSW. This new position will be part of our GM Team and report to the Managing Director. 

Based at the Milbrae Head Office in Leeton, the GM Quarries will have a strong focus on safety, internal and external customers as well as resource, plant and staff development and financial performance. Key responsibilities include: 

  • Ensuring safe & professional quarry operations are in place across our Milbrae sites 

  • Providing leadership and coaching for regional/quarry managers and their teams 

  • Promoting and role-modelling a culture across the Milbrae business that reflects Mawsons values of teamwork, partnering, innovation, empathy and integrity 

  • Developing annual capital and operating budgets, and managing the Milbrae fixed and mobile quarry business unit to those plans 

  • Working with Engineering and Operational teams to continuously improve site performance in reliability, sustainability, WH&S and productivity 

  • Ensuring ongoing resource development and rehabilitation for existing and greenfield sites 

  • Working with the Mawson’s General Management team to seamlessly offer our customers the best products and value for their needs

The Workshop Foreman role is hands-on and will involve planning, prioritising & allocation of work tasks, overseeing completion of tasks including supervision of work crews, providing leadership, guidance and coaching to mechanical staff, monitoring work safety, general compliance and quality – Mainly workshop based with some field work (may require time working away).
